Held by Selan Oilfield earlier but surrendered, and it was in the interim care of ONGC for few years.
It consist of 3 fields in Gandhinagar Mehsana & Cambay.
ONGC produced 30-50 bopd from the field from 2015 - 2021.
It was offered up to private operators as part of DSF Bid round 3
where Oilmax won the field.
It was the most coveted prospect in the round, as it is
the only already producing asset in the round. It attracted 14 bids
including from ONGC, OIL, and Vedanta.
Oilmax has completed all
handover of the field and the field is productive.
Magneto-telluric survey: 250 points Exploration Phase-I extended till Mar, 2018.
