Amguri

The Amguri story is probably one of the most significant ones in the Indian E&P space over the last year. Oilmax’s work here was highlighted as a model case for operators by GoI earlier this year

Oilmax acquired 50% of the field in 2021 and became the operator. At the time, the Amguri field had no production for the previous 10 years

Oilmax restarted and commercialized production from the field within 60 days from acquisition. This turnaround time is unprecedented in Indian E&P history.
