Some of the CSR initiatives that OILMAX has undertaken:

OILMAX is strongly committed to its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, not just because it is required to, but also because we at OILMAX firmly believe that to conduct operations successfully anywhere in the world, it is important to involve the locals and give back to them to help in their development too. That is why OILMAX employs thousands of people from local communities all around our worksites for its seismic operations.

Moreover, in addition to our HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) commitments of ensuring a minimum negative impact of our operations on the environment and the locals, we also strive to work with the local communities to develop them in a manner that they are comfortable with. This is part of our CSR initiatives with the aim of increasing their overall well-being and quality of life.

Sarva Guna Sampanna– A Skill Development Program
The Oilmax group of Companies is at the cusp of writing our growth story and we truly believe that the great state of Assam has played its part in enabling us to achieve our goals and will continue to contribute towards success.
With a view to assist the State of Assam and as a part of the Corporate Social Responsibility, Oilmax Energy has taken up an initiative to set up “Sarva Guna Sampanna” a finishing school program at Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology (JIST).

    The program is the first of its kind which promotes the specialized skills for petroleum professionals.

    The first batch consists 40 multidisciplinary young graduates.

  • 03-

    Experienced professionals from Oil and Gas Sector are delivering the Program modules which would support the successful
    candidates to lower the barriers and to decrease the time and effort needed to develop or adopt to new institutional methodologies.

    The course aims to reorient the thinking of young and dynamic individuals and make them ready
    to face challenges of the changing Oil and Gas industry which currently is going through paradigm shift.

    The successful candidates will be receiving a National Skill Development approved certificate with industry wide recognition.

Helped bring electricity to villages
OILMAX has helped bring electricity to villages in several remote areas of Tripura, India, by not only donating solar lamps to the villagers, but also building the necessary additional supporting infrastructure and training the villagers in their operation and maintenance. Electricity can be a very empowering step for rural populations, allowing children to study at night and families to live without harmful, smoky, wick-based lamps inside their homes.

Set up health check-up camps
OILMAX has set up health check-up camps and provided medication to several local communities in Tripura, India. In several parts of India, healthcare can be woefully lacking, and OILMAX is committed to help local communities find the means and find access to quality healthcare.

Assistance to Local Community
Oilmax has been providing School Kits and other learning essentials to the community to run schools where we operate.

“ Oilmax has worked to provide essentials, Electronics and Access to power to Senior Citizen Homes in Sivasagar, Assam, and Orphanages in Jorhat, Assam.”
Our CEO Dr. Rabi Bastia, was personally present to deliver the basic essentials, electronics and Solar panels’ set to the Senior Citizens Homes in Sivasagar, Assam.
Along with Senior Citizen Homes, the Orphanages near Jorhat, we have provided everyday use items for the children.
As a part of a commitment to the Senior Citizens group, we have also provided Solar Panels.
